Miss Kristy Smith
Social Studies and General Equivalency Diploma
I am proud to serve and teach in the community from which I am a graduate of. Born and raised in Brookhaven, I see the changing dynamics of this community. My goal is to be the person my students can trust and depend upon even after leaving these doors. Not only do we provide the curriculum for which their education is built upon, but we must also provide a curriculum for them to be socially, morally, and physically prepared for life. That is why I believe social studies/ history courses are even more important especially in such challenging times. In order to proceed, we must know our past.
